The Mister Texas Organization is diligently working with various companies and organizations to secure appearances for Mister Texas.  Anything and everything Texas is up for consideration, from chili cook offs to helping launch new products made right here in the Lone Star State to working with youth at Texas summer camps.  As such, the winner of Mister Texas must be able to juggle a possibly very busy schedule and be willing to traverse the Lone Star State with short notice.

Duties
Mister Texas will, to the best of his abilities, attempt to fulfill any appearances/engagements scheduled on his behalf by The Mister Texas Organization.

Roles
The main role of Mister Texas is to serve as a positive role model for young men within the state of Texas and  demonstrate the following characteristics/attributes throughout his reign:

• Beauty that is masculine and strong

• Honesty coupled with kindness

• Ruggedness tempered with social graces

• Intelligence in tandem with hard work

Responsibilities
Throughout his reign, Mister Texas is to uphold the standards and practices of The Mister Texas Organization and maintain his physical appearance, moral character, and personal conduct to be consistent with the characteristics encompassed by the title of Mister Texas.

At The Mister Texas Organization, we believe that the winner of Mister Texas is to personify the spirit of independence that made Texas what it is today.  Therefore, the winner of Mister Texas is free to pursue and secure additional appearances as he sees fit.  However, the winner of Mister Texas understands that for one year his professional affairs, as said winner, will be under the sole management of The Mister Texas Organization and /or its licensees and that he will not give any written or oral endorsements commercially, without the expressed permission of The Mister Texas Organization. Mister Texas further acknowledges that all rights for any appearances, endorsements, speaking engagements, acting roles, etc. resulting from winning or being a contestant in the Mister Texas Competition shall belong exclusively to The Mister Texas Organization.
