To apply for the Mister Texas 2010 Competition, the applicant must submit the following by or before January 15, 2010:

1. Fill out and submit the MISTER TEXAS Application on-line.
2. Upload a minimum of three (3) to a maximum of nine (9) digital photos (headshot, swimwear, casual) on-line OR submit said digital photos via e-mail to: This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it

A headshot photo - similar to these samples:

A swimwear photo (in bikini or square cut) - similar to these samples:

A casual photo (that personifies Texas) - similar to these samples:

IMPORTANT: All digital photos submitted must be in color, must be at least 200 pixels in resolution, and must be of high quality, recent, and professionally taken.  The Mister Texas Organization recommends that you find a good professional photographer to take your pictures.  If you live in the DFW area, The Mister Texas Organization may be able to coordinate your photography services to be conducted by the official Mister Texas photographer.

3.  OPTIONAL: A brief videoclip containing the following:

A brief introduction lasting about 2 minutes.  This section should contain the following:

• Name
• Area of Texas you live in
• What you think makes Texas great
• Hobbies
• Why you think you should be Mister Texas
• Catwalk/posing techniques/fitness activities, lasting about 2 minutes.  This section should contain the following:
• Casual activities (leaning against a pillar, sitting on a fence, strolling down a beach, etc.)
• Riding a bike, running, lifting weights, playing a sport, etc.

4.  Once we have received your complete application (online bio, photos), we will review it thoroughly and then advise   you whether you qualify as a contestant or not. If you qualify as a contestant, we will send you an Agreement Form in WordDoc that you need to read carefully and return to us with the date and your printed name. The Agreement Form summarizes the Rules & Regulations and secures your spot in the competition.
